The PS3 Console Has Ended Production Over In Japan

PlayStation Plus games for June include Life is Strange and Killing Floor 2

PlayStation's Turkish Twitter feed posted this now deleted tweet yesterday, highlighting new titles coming in June, highlighting Killing Floor 2 and Life Is Strange. A group of civilians and mercenaries have banded together to combat the outbreak and established privately funded operation bases across Europe.

Of course, there will be more games that will be included with two listed above, as there's usually 6 games that are available to download for free each month.

Life Is Strange has you following "the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price". The PS3 saw some unusual releases (remember that Lost game?), but overall it maintained an impressive lineup that keeps gamers entertained to this day. "Meanwhile, Max must quickly learn that changing the past can sometimes lead to a devastating future". Blood Knights and Port Royale 3 are also available on PS3 as part of May 2017 PlayStation Plus games lineup. Our Redditor didn't elaborate on how they came by this information, but I would assume he works for a video game retailer of some sort.

The two PS4 titles surfaced through a leak ahead of Sony's official announcement.

Some of the most notable PlayStation-exclusive games that found a home on the PS3 include the first three entries in the Uncharted series, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid 4: Sons of the Patriots, several Yakuza titles, and five Ratchet & Clank games. However, Sony will likely stop supporting the PS3 with game and system updates immediately.

As with every month, there's a total of six games up for grabs, four of which this month can be played on the PlayStation 4.
