British model drugged, stuffed in bag and 'auctioned as sex slave'

The woman was held for six days in Milan Italy

A British model was abducted in Milan and put up for auction online after being lured to a sham photoshoot.

Police said the woman was drugged, handcuffed and put into a bag and then into the boot of a auto.

A statement from Milan police headquarters detailed the woman's ordeal.

Corriere della Sera, a Milan newspaper, reported that the kidnapper let his victim go because he discovered she had a child and considered her unsuitable for the sex trade.

They said she was handcuffed to a dresser until she was released near the British consulate on 17 July - with the suspect arrested the day after.

Upon arriving at the apartment, she was attacked by two men, according to local police.

Photo released by police of Lukasz Pawel Herba, a Polish citizen with British residency, who has been arrested in the alleged kidnapping of a young British model.

Italian media reports that Herba has links to the "Black Death" criminal organisation that works on the dark web.

According to court documents, the woman was drugged by her abductor and held in a small town in the north-western Piedmont region of Italy.

The kidnapper used an encrypted account and then asked the model's agent for $300,000 to stop her from being sold in auction.

The man has confessed to the crime and his phone and computer - including photos of the model being offered on the "deep web" - have been confiscated.

The woman was released after being held for six days and investigations are being carried out by authorities in Italy, Poland and the UK.

They also traced his mobile phone and tracked down a taxi driver who gave him a lift and were able to lie in wait at the Consulate for him.

The woman, whose identity has not been revealed, was held prisoner for a week after being drugged, authorities said.
